Dear Scientists, Teachers, Graduate Students, Teacher Candidates, and Participants,

We are excited and delighted to invite you to the conference titled "Mathematics Education in the World," which will be held in collaboration between Gazi University and the Science and Technology Association with the support of the Ministry of National Education, on November 20-21, 2023 in Ankara, Türkiye.

The primary goal of the conference is to voice criticisms on behalf of our country, following the motto, "Generations capable of effectively using the universal language of mathematics will lead in the fields of science and technology." This involves evaluating the significance attributed to mathematical studies, the methods and curricula employed, the guidance and incentives pursued, as well as the procedures followed from preschool to postgraduate levels in various countries around the world.

Within this framework, experts in mathematics education from both national and international backgrounds, representing countries such as England, France, Germany, Hungary, Japan, India, Russia, Singapore, and the U.S.A., have been invited as keynote speakers to evaluate the state of mathematics education in their respective countries. Alongside the keynote speeches, the conference will also delve into the results of mathematics education in Türkiye and explore proposals for a new educational model.

We anticipate that the conference will benefit from the participation of undergraduate and graduate students in mathematics education, educators, experts, and researchers who have practical experience, conducted studies, or developed proposals related to mathematics education.

Participation in the conference is free. Therefore, participants will be responsible for their own travel, accommodation, and logistical needs.

Furthermore, a conference booklet containing all presentations/talks will be published, and all participants will receive a "Conference Participation Certificate." To receive this certificate, you must register by filling out the form at the following link:
